They do crop up on ebay every now and again if your lucky.
As Carlos said Fibresports who produced the UK kits had a fire and lost all the moulds so they are very rare now.
I have just refitted my x-pack kit back on after major restoration, its not too bad to do but takes time.

Cheers for replys chaps
.Mark your rebuild photos have given me an idea of how its done. Are they just bonded on with fiberglass and filled and rubbed down. Also how do you know how much to trim the wheel arches back. Looked on google last night and a few companys came up selling new bodykits ( Smith and Deakin and Speed Shack). Are these any good or just poor copys .

Im sure Xsport racing in Basingstoke still sell X-pack kits
http://www.xsportracing.com/ford-escort-mk2.3003304.cms
I bought 2 kits from them in the 80's when they were "Autocross"
Personally though I would keep the bodywork original on your RS, they are a bugger to get to fit right, and take lots of time in blocking out the filler work
and that's after you have cut an welded your arches

Then its the long task of blending them in with filler.
As for cutting the original arches, I had to do that on the front as my original front wings were rotten, simply put the X-pack in place - line it all up and tape it in place. You can then mark the wings were you need to cut them. You should be able to see it oin my gallery.
I didn't have to do the rear arches as they were already done. My arches also came with a plastic infill, to fill the gap between the x-pack ext and the normal wing.
good luck

Well mine was originally fitted by Zakspeed themselves, however I had to remove the kit to put new outer sills on. Speak to fibresports, and they will sell you the correct fibreglas and resin so you can bond the arches on. Use screws or rivots to hold them in place while it dries.

I think I reconise your regno from a conversation on the RSOC forum about 5 years ago
![Big Grin](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif)
And to get things back on topic, this is the first set of arches we fitted, the picture was from about 1983, the car was a base model RS. I must say it did look the nuts back then compared to everything else that was on the road, and at the time and used to get a lot of attention at the Chelsea Cruise. The wheels from memory were Compomotive TF Splits
Cheers

I GOT A GENUINE BRAND NEW PAIR OF REAR X PACK ARCHES THAT I BOUGHT FROM FIBRESPORTS 10YRS AGO WITH THE FORD LOGO MOULDED IN THE LOWER FRONT SECTION THEY ARE FOR SALE IF THAT HELPS ![Big Grin](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_mrgreen.gif)
ps your best cutting the rear arches out right upto the top of the inner arch & if you can get full fibreglass front wings then i would get them ,its so much easier .
here are a few pics from when i done mine originally about 24yrs ago

when you do screw ,bolt or rivet the kit on while you are bonding it on when its cured make sure you remove the fixings as they will come back to haunt you ,the best thing to bond on the body kit is either sikaflex or fibreglass based filler put onto all the edges of the kit then fixed to car & left to cure .![Top](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/smile011.gif)
