Almost finished with my mk1 capri restoration. However the seats are ruined. Finding a replacement set is proving impossible so Im looking at alternatives. I have seen a nice leather front and rear from a ford scorpio cosworth and I am wondering if the rear seats will fit.

Anyone help?

Hi love the capri some vauxhall cars from the 90s had some nice recaros try ebay just type in recaro im sure you can get a nice set and back seat to match just uncover the seat rear cloth and retrim yours or if you want some retro vinyl look try corbeau seats or midland wheels...........Keep it old skool

the rears wont fit from scorpio front should be ok as above cant you get your own rears covered to match

No they are not citreon wheels. The guy I bought them from was going to put them on a citreon and bought carbon fibre centre caps.

No the rears are completely unusable. So really need something that will fit.

 

Don't MK3 rears fit?

i think mk2 cortina 1600e seats are a close original match,but hard to find too. mk3 escort rs1600i have great seats in light grey ,can be dyed black and even remove the headrests to give an older look.

 

Nice car I love the mk1 especially.
