Default Re tubing Atlas axle?

I've got an Atlas on my mk2, but it was off a Gartrac G3 so it's very wide,Ive phoned Gartrac and it'll cost £400 to get it re tubed about 2-3 inches narrower, they'll use the original shafts as the splines are long enough, and the 4 linking brackets will be re welded in the new positions.
Does anyone know if you can get them narrowed anywhere else for cheaper?
