V8 MK1 Capri
Hello.
Thought id post up about my car.
Its a 1971 2000GT XLR. There isnt much left of the original car. I have replaced the old V4 with a 6.2lt Ford V8 and an auto gearbox. Ford 9 inch diff. The brakes are from a Ford falcon (ozy car). Four point cage, fixed back seats. Engine makes around 500hp. Car has run a 10.3 @ 129.6mph down the 1/4 mile. Let me know what u think.
Im keen to do some suspension upgrades. Coilover front, tension bars. Any one done this here?

Nice car, like the mk1 and mk2 myself, even love the old V4, had one in me corsair 2000E.
I don't know about the wheel style though, never had a capri myself so not done much work on them, only a mk3 TT one, that was a complete dog of a car!!

Thanks for the replys. Mk1 Capri's were sold over here so there are a few around. Although they are getting alot harder to find in decent condition. And for resonable money!
The colour is Suzuki Kashmir blue. From new swift's grand vitara's ect.
