How much is that plate worth ... JAW Z ... both stunning cars, if only we could find more like that, how many have been scrapped because the big ends went etc .. makes a grown man cry .. infact .. i really do when i think back to the ones i sent to the scrapper ... i would be a millionaire if i had stored them up. When i was 18 I scrapped one after smacking the rear 1/4 in .. took the engine and and box out and scrapped it .. mint bar the dent.

I am going to keep the standard dash what do you think? and am buying some after market gauges for tempretures. bought a new front panel too to fit rectangular lamps, rs bumpers etc, was in thought of selling everything and buying a mk3, but i just cant let it go, maybe it was lack of motivation and seeing her in that sorry state? anyways cant wait to see it finished now!

Seems almost too nice to drive.

 

I would keep the standard dash and add gauges due to the fact it is hard to find a good working 6 dial dash!...I have 3 six dial dashes and they all have a gauge which does not work,so will try and make one good dash from them when i get to that stage!
I would keep the round headlamps as they look so much better.
