Look on bluecossie.com/rsnorfolk and PM RETRO AL, he has a rather nice MK1 escort with the cossie conversion so would know.

indeed he is il get some photos on this week some point heading to glasgow for parts just now. aint cheap sticking a cossie lump in i thought it would be easy but the amount of stuff you need to change is unreal better starting with a bare shell thats what i did. could have went on the road without a paint but i did the full shell anyway no point cuttin corners mine is 5 linked turreted gusseted fire walled etc etc ive been told by a mate with a gp4 mk2 that il be going through a few half shafts lol he has a n/a yb with quafie throughout half shafts etc an he still manages to snap them time to time lol defo the way ahead for any mk2 lol

my shell was mint also its a non custom t plate was red originally but now signal yellow didnt need painted but i thought i may as well since all the work being done, its turreted firewall'd gusseted bulkhead plates etc etc a lot of fukcing about to get the yb to fit none of the hoses fit etc etc its never ending im having problems lining everything up straight engine box prop its only the inside an underneath you need to paint but your right it will get marked some how i need the front of mine painted already an its not on the road yet wings inner wings but its getting there that sort of bhp knocks the shit out them always better seam welding etc i need to sell my van to buy front brakes coilovers an wheels spent a fortune on it but they only go up in price now so it aint that bad the thought that ive sold beige! customs mexicos for 500 makes me ill

red/black (thick)=fuel pump
red/blue (thick)=batt +
black(thick)=ign switch
green(thin)= rev counter
brown/white(thin)=water temp
brown/green(thin)=oil switch
brown/red=ecu diag light

this is what i was told how the yb loom works??

im still to look at the mk2 loom so this is gobbldy gook to me but it cant be hard to sort?? fuel pump live, bat live, ignition feed,??? then the others are for gauges i think so by looking at it, the ign wire contacted to the live feed at the barrel, batt+ onto constant live feed, and pump wire ran to back of car for live pump? feed? ? then i take it i earth the pump of the shell??

again this is all in my head at the mo still to put into practice lol
if im wrong can someone let me know
