does anybody know of some good track day events coming up for a amature to the track day scene thanks in advance

Dependant on where you are in the country as to where your closest track is!

You could try their website looking for trackdays, establish a date that suits, give the circuit a call and get yourself booked on.

http://www.motorsportvision.co.uk/index.asp is who I use most of the time. Tracks you can use by booking direct with Motor Sport Vision are Brands Hatch, Oulton Park, Snetterton, Cadwell Park and Bedford Autodrome.

There trackdays are discounted and they offer Novice, Intermediate and Advanced.
