sofar i only tried herritage/chris knott n they're 25+
ive tried the following companies for NORMAL quotes which were NOT competetive (all wanted 1k+!!):
Adrian Flux
Performance Direct
Liverpool Victoria
The AA
Direct Line
and the following that WERE competetive:
Elephant.co.uk
Chris knott (current insurers)
im currently paying 950pa, my renewal quote is 900pa (whoopdiedoo, i turn 21 and got another years NCB and they wnna knock a whole 4% off
) best quote sofar is elephant @ 750pa
thing is when i was getting quotes last month to see what it was gonna be like i was getting circa 600-800quid!

Keep shopping around Jim mate. It's all you can do.
Liverpool & Victoria are usually quite competitive though
The AA are awful. I was with them for a year and payed just £620 TPFT at the age of 23 with 3 points and 1 fault. At the end of that years policy my points and accident no longer needed declaring and they then wanted £1600 TPFT and th eonly change in the details was th eupgrade from Cat 2 security to Cat 1. Oddly I didn't renew

sorry but thats fooking funny
Try HIC again, I hate their phone system too
But they did me a reasonably good quote on the S2 on a Classic Policy with all mods declared, agree value, driving other cars and track day use.

you 21 and have 1 years ncb??
phone greenlight dummy, use your passion ford discount, easily the cheapest for me
i had a xr4i when i was 21 and with no ncb was just 650 a year to insure. with admiral

ginge, greenlight were nowhere near competetive even with the discounts!
and ive got 2yrs NCB
thing is i'm actually only 20... but ill be 21 precisely 16 days after i want the policy to start
but due to holiday commitments (ie im the designated driver for a road trip taking place in that 16 day period) i cant have the car un-insured during this time

My ST170 was a pain in the arse to insure! Insurance companys see the 170 bhp bit and load it right up
TBH i could prob insure a 330bhp stg 3 Esc Cos for around the same price as 90% of the quotes i got for the ST170.
