ABS pump motor has seized or the pressure switch is faulty mate.....

All late 4x4 pumps are the same, you should be able to pick one up for buttons....

do you run a heatshield?

if not you could of possibly melted a wire or some for the ans

just go through everything on the pump to the connectors

Try changing the accumulator on the ABS pump - big spherical black thing - it unscrews - use something like an oil filter wrench on it!!!

I had a problem with the escort a year back with the fuel pump not coming on and it turned out to be the fuse box thing under the steering wheel. I was told they just lose tracks due to old age and need replacing! Old cars eh!

Good luck mate.
