no they dont effect the offset. all you have to is tap a 12mm thread in the top hole on the hub! piece of piss to fit!

All bolts straight on

They are easier because yeah, they go straight on, but using RST calipers have a bigger braking surface area
o right yer , i think then i will use my original calipers and the 2 wd disks
Does it matter then if i have xr3i calipers on my cab because it was a xr3i originaly
are the xr3i and rst calipers the same ??

It is something you can always add later...
Has the car got ABS? If so, rip that crap out and the brakes will be loads better anyway.
I am quickly running out of helpful replies. Soon I will have to go back to making silly sarcastic replies like I usually do. I have been faaaar too helpful this morning. I must have got up out of the right side of the bed

From messing with RST's for the last 5 years lol
I said the RST piston was bigger than an XR3i one, not a Cosworth caliper
It's something to do with the angle. Can't remember now exactly. YEARS ago there was a section on the turbosport site that Clint wrote comparing various brake options for an RST. It showed that using RST calipers with 2wd discs gave a better braking percentage than using 4x4 calipers and 2wd discs.

As the cossie pads are far bigger than the RsT stuff

So the RST piston is bigger that a 4x4 piston?

If you are using RST calipers, then you use an RST pad. If you are using 2wd calipers, then you use 2wd pads...
