Default Exhaust question

...and a silly on at that, will a stainless exhaust system sound the same on tickover and under load on my standard rst as it would on a modified engined rst?

i.e i liked the sound of the rs turbos i've heard with stainless exhausts on but know they were running about 200bhp

Head, cam, turbo and engine condition all have an affect on exhaust note

Hybrid/bigger turbo's seem to make the note deepen.

right, so it might not sound special on a standard rst. im after the deep bassy rumble assosiated with turbo cars. dont want it sounding like a raspy nova

Get yourself a 2.5" bore Mongoose, they have a nice growl to them. This is what my slightly modified RST sounds like.....
