need to rebuild my engine on my erst but dont no what make and type of pistons to go for any advice ?

if ya not going for big power just buy a set of mahle +.5 they should do ya

mahles will do then, think a few people on here use em good pistons and not badly priced

iv uesed accarlight before and had no probs but im ussing manale pistons know no probs what so ever

just aout of intrested doses anyone know what the stander pistion in the rs can handle wise bhp and boost????

Mahles are good for up to 300bhp

What are arias pistons like that ian howell uses? or are they only on his zetec builds ?

yeah ive used mahle in mine when i rebuilt 3 years ago, still good as gold and i drive it hard most days

As Tony said. I would use Mahles up to around 250bhp. Mine did more than that and had been machined to lower comp too.

At least you won't have any issues associated with some Forged pistons with the Mahles.

They have to be machined as far as I know. Which I wouldn't recommend for 300+

there was a bit in one of the paerformance ford mags an month or so ago

about wossener pistons , aparently well known and and used in the the german touring car series , got a good plug

i dnt know anyone using them in a rst but there supposed to a good price and can be made specific to ur requirements ??

think it was bb tuining that stocks them ( big tuner of 5 gtt s )

give them a bell ??

worth a look

i have ordered to my s2 some nice pistons from IASA it is acompany from argentina but i dont know how to put a picture to show you them
