Default anyone got a nomad water temp gauge ?

the e/l type to be precise.

How accurate is it ? I put one in my s2 erst yesterday and the highest temp I saw today whilst driving to work was about 65c surely thats too low ?

Do you have to use a special wire from the sensor to the gauge because I used normal wire ? Could the way I connected it be making it read low, I used a crimped lug and then a nut on top of that, should I have connected the wire straight to the sensor by another way to get a more accurate reading

any advice appreciated

pretty easy mate, wire up the relay connectors first, 1 to earth and one to the switched live that switches the lights on. Then wire up the gauge, red to a switched live, black to earth and green to the temp sensor. Then plug the big thick wire into the connector coming out of the relay and hey presto, done

Anyone actually got one fitted and having the same prob as me, ie. low reading of water temp ???

what sort of temps do you see on the water one ? did you use any type of special wire from the sender to the gauge ? how did you connect the wire to the sender ?

Cheers, Duncan
