cold start vavle
hey there.. mine did the same thing, and you can easily check if it's the valve, just unplug it... drive it.. let stand for a while.. Try to start it, and pump the gas 2 or 3 times, if it starts, then it's your valve.. I was told that it is pretty common, and that the valve is pretty expensive, so I just run my RST without it, I pump it 2-3 maybe 4 times, and i starts without problems, even now when the temp. is around -5 degrees (dunno how to spell that though!?
) so that's a quick and inexpensive way to do it

thanks for replying, i have only just got my car back as i had the engine removed to paint the engine bay. it started first time prior to this. the garage had problems trying to get it running when they refitted the engine. i think they lost interest in it and wanted it out of the way. i will try it again in the morning and if that fails i will do what you said. is it easy to locate the cold start (not really hands on when it comes to engines). when it finally goes back on the road going to get it set up properly
