cant afford the chip this month so just gonna get the car set up as its never been done after the engine and new turbo was fitted.

scary i know.

ive got a 4inch mongoose,ramair filter,-31 and is gona have the boost turned to maximum it will reach on standard ecu, its the later 1 which lets u have 12 psi max boost ive been told.

anybody know if 150 bhp sounds rite for that tune?

 

pretty sure the most boost you can run is 10psi before it cuts out.

i got 157bhp @ 10psi but thats with a kent cam as well.

150bhp @ 10psi is about right for standard rst's

 

10.5 psi is the most it will run,with what you got you may make 150 bhp

 

some people say the late rst's can run up to 12psi not sure how much truth their is in that, maybe another rs myth it all depends on the condition of your engine etc but if thats a fresh engine then i dont see why it wont make decent power

 

some one on here wrote that they put a bleed valve in before the ecu and ran 14psi with out any problems?

 

i had the last rst h plate 1991 april model and that ran 10.5 psi max before it popped made 153bhp with magnex and kn

 

mines only got k&n and magnex boost raised to 10psi and it made 156bhp 168lbs 6 month ago

 

made 3 more than me then did ya must have been on a cold day
