Default My Escort Turbo Powered Ka

So far as i believe, its the only Escort Turbo engined Ka ever done. Usual MFi/EFi debate: but as im a student, this engine became avaiable and it has a nice little spec, and it was the best way for me personally to go about it.

Few more than 10 people have done Fiesta conversions and its very straight forward. I just had to figure out the wiring etc... so it made it a bit more fun for me, and a learning curve.

Ive only just recently finished it, and havent had much time with Christmas un all. Lots of things need a good tidy up, so i'llget some nice photos done of it soon.

...oooow, front mount ignore the wiring in this pic, that came out!

Engine Spec:

Accralite 1.5mm oversized pistons with lower compression
Hybrid Saph Cos 4x4 T3 turbo with 360 degree thrust bearing
.48 exhaust housing
.60 trim compressor
-31 actuator
K+N cone filter
Turbosystems chip
Custom Front mounted intercooler
SFS silicone hoses
Fiesta Turbo Scorpion stainless exhaust system
Longlife custom downpipe
Felpro Group A Headgasket
Escort Cosworth fuel pump
ARP Strengthened Head bolts

Just needs a setup now.. and with the coilovers, its good fun!

So far as i know, the one at daddy thrash is a 2.1 ZVH. Mine is the only one with a full Escort Turbo conversion i mean.

As for valuation, me and the insurance company are still undecided. More than anything, its just personally how much time i have put into it.

I just thought id better post it on here, incase some of you were wondering what im doing in the Escort Turbo section

The bodywork is the only thing i havent done myself, as i wanted it done nicely. Never painted before, but id love to learn.

So far as i know, its the same as with any other car. Just weld in a plate in place over any holes.

Aye ive seen those two cars. They just have MFi inlets, they've been modded slightly i.e. injectors, fiesta management. Mine is the first full Escort conversion, with metering unit etc.
