I know that this question has been asked alot and that alot of people use mobil 1 15w 50 or silkolene pro s 10w 50. Anyway i went to my local car spares shop as i always do and in his records it says that the oil should be 5w 30 fully syn.
So what do you guys think i should get the 5w 30 as the records show or use what alot of the people use on these forums 15w 50, 10w 50 any help would be great.....

 

either Mobil one,15w50 or silkolene pro s 10w 50 will be fine. why else do you think most of us use these oils?!

 

Thats the thing alot of people using these oils yet the bloke at the shop recomended the 5w 30. Just wanted to be sure.....

 

i have been advised to use 10w 40 magnatec is this any good ?

 

a bloke in my local halfords told me that the Mobil 1 15w 50 was not recommended for turbocharged cars.

the label on the oil sugested otherwise

 

5w-30 is for Zetecs.
