Default Insurance Policies Less Than 1 year

Is it possible to insure my RS for a period less than 1 year? My renewal has come up and I'm sick of paying for 12 months but only using it for 8/9

Are there any companies out there people can recomend for policies less than 1 year? Or do insurance companies generally not do it?

Cheers

Yes, Elephant do a 10 month policy.

The other option is to put it on a Direct Debit mate, then you can walk away from the policy without the hassle of getting stung for cancellation fee's etc

PM me or add me on messenger or something and i'll explain it if you need any help

But then you wont maintain an NCB

Besides the 10 mth policies are NCB accelerators, so just as dear usually

Hi guys.....No claims doesn't matter as I usually insure it on a classic car policy anyway [which don't build no claims].

Dan, if you have a policy and pay by direct debit, if you cancel the direct debit and walk away you will end up with a bad credit reference which I don't want.

I'll try HIC and have a ring around

I was also thinking about the Norwich Union pay-per mile thingy!

Not true john...

If its Direct Debit then you can walk away from it at ANY GIVEN TIME during your renewal term, WITHOUT getting a bad credit score

If you pay a monthly standing order to a finance company and decide to cancel your policy 'mid-term' then yes, you will have to pay any shortfall due or they will chase you and again it could effect your credit rating

Damo, do yourself a quote on Elephant and see the difference between a 10 Month Bonus Accelerator Policy and a 12 Month policy, there is certainly a difference between them my friend!
