Seems okay for one off quick needed extra cover,
but was discussed ages ago as someone asked about it for car taxation purposes.
The site clearly states in its FAQ's that taxation with their certificates is not possible
Just thought I would kill that one again.
Good to repost now and again though

No need to David, as insurance can only be arranged for less than 1 month per year.
It is underwritten by Norwich Union
Dayinsure.com is a short period insurance facilitity that will provide cover for a maximum of 28 days, for any one vehicle, in any 12 month period. If you require annual cover, dayinsure.com recommends that you contact Norwich Union Direct on 0800 092 9561, or via their website at www.norwichunion.com
They dont exactly ask many details though ! compared to getting a normal policy.
Came back at £21 for a days insurance on my old saff which I reckon is just to cheap.
Will it cover me if I buy another cheap saff and take it to Nurumburg for a few days ? if so were laughing

theres lots of small print to read.
took this of a forum that it was on sure they got it of the site
hadnt even thought of the tax tbh just thought could be handy if buying a car down south or something and getting you up the road.saves getting another cover note sent

Is driving round the 'ring classed as Social and Domestic ??
Im sure many people would be shocked to find their insurance is null and void should it go tits up, or you hit someone else out there etc.

Enjoy the ring if you go over, a few of us were planning it too but cars wont be ready in time
maybe later on in the year
Its a bit shit that they wont let you on without tax, mot etc as I wanted to trailer one of the track cars over

I bet that over 50% of those that travel over dont have a clue about the insurance bit, or even how much it costs to replace the armco
