My brother has asked me to get him some car stereo bits from ebay US,

Now i said i didn't think the stuff would work like the fm shit is different over there but would amps and stuff work here? are the cars the same or is it different like the house voltage?

Anyway any ideas people?

everything should work, and the FM should work apart from will get a narrow band of FM stations as they work on different band etc.

 

I know some older cars were +ve earth but would imagine that has phased out (no pun intended)

Can't think of anything else that could effect it

 

I bought a motorised dvd player/radio in NY works perfectly

The price difference is shocking he like rockford fosgate shit and the subs he wanted cost Ł130ish each but in the states they are less than Ł100 for 2
