Default Any experience of the MSD and Accel Coilpacks same as Zetec?

I was searching for a new Coilpack and came across these.

MSD do an 'Uprated' one Pt.No. 8241

and Accel do one too Pt.No 140018

just wondered if anybody in the Ford circles had replaced there standard coilpack with one of these?

Any thoughts?

Cheers Gareth,

Yeah i looked into that, but there's a company here called Real Steel, deal mainly with American V8's, they can supply both for under Ł70....

Which i thought was quite good.

Worth it you think???

i never got round to testing/playing with the upgraded one

the ford one is good enough for a high compression/big mid boost wrc car with no miss-fires from lack of spark energy, its genrally good enough for anything else

this is where many people get caught, also when they get the wrong part sent it cost the customer in the UK as they have to pay to send it back before correct part is sent, Atleast paying someone like us the risk factor is our problem and not the customers, if I get the wrong part I sort it and the customer still pays the price he was told.
I have good suppliers more importantly efficient shipping from the states so usually I can match or BEAT any other quote on a part from a UK supplier from the states.
