2 pack is best.

 

You can use normal paint or heat proof paint,but the best is to powdercoat them.

 

POop down B&Q and get the aerosol hammerite paint. Hardwearing and looks good if you prep it properly. Colours are a bit limited though

Yes mate

2 pack is far better than hammerite and so called heat proof paints. My block and rocker cover are painted in them. Crossover pipe has no paint on it as std, its alloy.

 

is 2 pack dear? where do you get it from? and does it have to be sprayed on?

depends where u get it from really i think,any car paint place should sell it but as normal with spraying ure supposed 2 wear a proper mask

 

i used halfrauds cans on mine .. came out very well .. lasted the 18 months upto the day i sold the car ... 5 trackdays never hurt it seemed to love getting hot

i work in a body shop so not that much of an issue how i paint it really but i dont want it to just be 1 colour so there will be masking involved so its just going 2 be whats easiest

 

My bro done his rocker cover in black aerosol hammerite and it looks thenuts and apart from needing the odd wipe over it still looks mint now
