buy a car you absolutely love more than anything in the world ( my escort cosworth )
then go without food, fags, clothes, nights out, holidays, a decent phone, computers or anything else u used to like cos it will personally mug you for your cash each week !
but opening that garage door after a hard week makes it all worth it

Some people need a bit of help. If it helps and they stop, then £70 not to stink, ruin your health, be anti-social and spend a fiver a day on fags ain't a bad trade off is it ??

Andy,
My mum and dad stopped last year,, in fact it has been just over a year now. They are 60 yrs old and have smoked all their life....my dad was a chain smoker up until him retiring but still on about 25 a day. They stopped thru the doctor..perscribed patches etc.
they have not had a cig since and its the best thing they have done, and they too now realise just how ignorant they used to be with the stinky things

Try "adversion therapy" However many you smoke in a day you double or treble it.
To the point where you feel sick. Then your body will feel sick every time you have 1, so you don't do it anymore.

Bu the Alan carr book. Pal has bought it and she's not smoked for 4 weeks now. And not even wanted too!
Failing that, think about what you'll get out of NOT smoking!
Yellow teeth
stinking like an ash tray
bad breath
less money
their banning it in pubs. . tells me allot about smoking!
you can breath easier
you can run for the bus without dying. . well in my case
your not always thinking about your next fag
you dont get moody when you dont have fags
your sleeping improves
your health in general improves
your skin/hair etc goes back to normal
list goes on. . and if that's not enough to make you stop then your mad!
i stopped 5 days ago and havent looked back! i enjoyed NOT wanting a smoke last night at a party. . my bird even gave me her fags to keep in my pocket and not once did i think "take one"

The lad has been stopped over a year now and is very anti smoking now he has realised how bad it was.
As read in Zoo magazine.
Quite Date:
Blood pressure and pulsa rate fall instantly.
Morning after Quit date:
Carbon monoxide leaves the body and is replaced by oxygen
Two days after quit date:
Lungs discharge mucus, while rsidual carbon dioxide from smoking leaves the body.
Four days after quiting:
With your bronchial tubes no longer under stress, energy levels hit the roof.
Two to 12 weeks after quiting:
Rejoice as your body's circulation improves and you feel healthier.
Six weeks after quiting:
Finally able to run for the bus?
Three - nine months after quiting:
Lung function improves by 10% and smoking related breathing problems becoming a thing of the past.
Five years on:
Half as likely to have a heart attack compared to a smoker.
10 years on:
Half as likely to get lung cancer compared to people who puff, with the chances of having a heart attack falling to the same levels as someone who has never smoked a cigarette in their life.
Each cigarette smoked contains a poisenous metal called cadmium. . the same substance usually found in household batteries!
