Entry for car 21 has been withdrawn today

Car's engine has just been rebuilt and after getting it running this morning it has a very bad misfire at 3950 rpm. Car lunges violently and pops and bangs as though the anti-lag is on.

We know this problem lies somewhere in the head on one side of the engine but don't now have the time to fix it As there is now plenty of helpers with car 46 it looks like I maybe watching the action for a change

First car - John Price in his Metro 6R4 is off the start line at 8:30am prompt, followed by a WRC Scooby, then another 6R4. It goes on all day like that until around 5 - 5:30pm

Scruitineering (checking of the cars) is Friday evening by the Fort on the New Brighton Promenade. That goes on from 6.30pm - 9pm. Here you can get to see the cars close up and chat to the crews etc.

All except one of ours anyway

Car 46 will be there tho'. Its a freshly built car and its the guys first ever event Just done some bits of signwriting for it this week (Hazwaste Environmental)

could'nt make it in the end,my brakes are fooked on my car and the front gave up on me nearly causing a big crash (not sure whats wrong but its pissing brake fluid all over the place so had to get towed home) so its in the garage now

 

hope its just a split flexi pipe Roy

Not a bad day The car above managed a finish on its first event. The driver was a bit rusty and took it steadily building up his confidence. Nice one Adge
