Same here- not for a completely unknown engine, I'd want it stripped down and inspected for 14 K.

Nice looking bit of kit but for £14.5k you would think it would have a bit better description of what exactly has been done no mention of what cams etc, and its only got what looks to be a standard exhaust manifold i thought either the 2wd or the 4wd were only good to about just over 500bhp?

Doesnt look worth that sort of money to me, as said above its just a butchered standard manifold (although looks well done) rods sound like they are standard ones just cleaned up not even "proper" ones.

I just cant see anyone paying that for an "unknown" engine, i doubt you would have to pay much more than that for someone like Stu to build on specifically for you.

Definately worth a lot of cash to the right person, but not that much as far as i can see.

It's a Bluesprint engine - the "F1 engineer" gives it away . Can almost believe the power, but the torque at just 2 bar is a bit high... . Would LOVE to see the dyno graph .

it's one of mine and although you may think it's just 'sploged' on it actually works very well and is a cheap option compared with a tubular manifold.

not doubting it works Martin.. just does look.. well erm... splodged on!

you'd think, for the £14k he's asking....he'd at least have a tubular item!

I think thats peoples point mate, for that sort of money secondhand, you wouldnt really expect any cheap options.

Thats not saying it doesnt work though, but obviously its still got the same flow limits as the standard manfifold up to that point.
