The question you MEANT to ask is, where is peak power and how much does it tail off by before the limiter?

.I would expect it to hit a true 170mph with wing on.
I would also be VERY careful about doing this speed before having the car det checked. Mark had to pull several degrees of timing out of Yum's car at the top end for top speed runs....

Id want my car to be mapped to be safe at top speed from the start

go on.. f*ck off you big overgrown poof!
Dave, dont forget in comparing your top speed to YUM.......your front bumper has HUGE flat(ish) frontal area, and also the extra drag of the WRC rear wing..........I.E. more drag and higher downforce than the normal Es Cossie shape.
IIRC the WRC Es Cos bodywork was developed with a top speed of approx 125 MPH in mind.

I had 169 out my stage 3 light blues 340 bhp and spoiler. But there was this mad vibrating noise comming from the back of the car i thought at the time it was the spoiler a bit like having your sunroof open and holding the wind flap down makes that mad noise tho the car.
this was on gps not speedo lol

No its mapped on the Dyno in IDEAL / controlled circumstances..
The dyon is ideal for replicating the same RPM position time and time again... EXACTLY to the point... unlike in a car trying to hold it in a certain position
The engine MAY need a slight detune in the car if it is less efficient (cooling etc)
e.g I asked for a safe strong reliable 350BHP engine, so I can turn up at any rolling road and KNOW it will pull 350-360HP
ON the Dyno she managed 375.. so once in the car knock off 10-20 HP (dpending on car etc )...

woohoo Doug, great news!
as long as it does 160, im not bothered!
Ive had a speedo 150 from it in -running in- mode (12 psi) pmsl - Tom tom matched it by 2 mph ( 152)
so double the boost and a bit more should see me to 170
hopefully!
