need some proper pics of this box fitted in a mk2 esort please as i want to see the angle it actually sits at and how high from the floor to see if it could be made to fit my fiesta xr2

on an xr2 you've gotta lose most of ya dials or move em as it sits right up in the dash, u can however sit the cylinders where the servo used to be.

 

ive seen the universal box that sits on the old servo bracket,,,

but that stil uses the rod across the bulkhead which gives loads of flex,

 

yep, that's a shame, junk the dials, fit a tiny rev counter and hey presto!

 

im not using the original clocks anyway mate,,,,,

will be using spa rev counter /speedo ect an gauges mounted on roll cage,,,,,,

does the mk2 escort use a similar clutch ratchet to escort/fiesta or is it all different?

I used to run one of these in my fiesta RWD rally car,it will fit but you have to strengthen the bulk head as its onny single skin the top bolts are a bit more difficult to use I cut and shaped some 1inch box section to bridge the gap and welded a captrive nut inside so to bolt it all up secure,I do have photos of the entire build but thay would need scanning
