Default FAO any 64bit win gurus...

Trying to install a 32bit application but get the error message:

Cannot find file setup.lid error 105

Any ideas?

Default

Found the problem.

Old versions of installshield are 16bit and 64bit windows just wont run them!

have you installed this software on 32bit winxp ok? ive had a search and most seem to suggest corrupt install files

Yes mate works fine on everything from 95 up to XPSP2 and Win2k3 servers.

Just wont work on 64bit machines but its cause the installshield it was create is an old version

is their not an option for 64bit xp to trick programs into thinking its a 32bit OS still? right click on the setup.exe maybe?
