I've recently got a really loud clonking as i pull away in 1st and 2nd gear.

I've got a CTS stage 2 box which has only done 1100 easy (running in) miles.

Drive shafts are in excellent conditions

also have new front wheel bearings etc etc.


The Escort had its MOT on Friday so i asked them to take a look at the clonking.
They reckon its the diff in the gear box, but i'm not so sure .
CTS have said they will take a look at the box and shafts to hopefully put my mind at rest that is not the box at fault

Has anyone else ever had a similar problem? if so what was it?
