as above whats the benifits of fitting them ???

swirl pot - none

oil breather - not needed on a good standard engine however worn or higher boost engines would benefit.

As Ballin says RST's already have a swirl pot built into the thermostat housing. Completely not needed. Once yuo start tuning though an oil seperator is worth investing in
