why is a std headgasket set from ford a gen part was 120squid and when i looked at sum cosmetic headsgaskets and group a ones were less ??


are the ford ones better ?? im planning on running 15-16 psi so would i need a group a one ?

 

ford headgasket's are just as good if not better than group a one's

 

mate told me that ill go for the std ford jobbie

 

they are £30 singularly

bolts are a tenner from motorfactors, i never use ford bolts

 

would be best to get the kit tho ???? everything new as im getting a polish and ported head hopefully

 

if you doing a top end rebuild then get the set

 

will do im hopeing to get this done and fitted and should be sweet as turned my boost down aswell and its stoped pinking so all good

 

yeah if ur messin with iot you'll need the lot, a simple h/gasket swap u will just need the gasket, bolts and cambelt while ur there

 

already to hand

 

What's a Group A headgasket for a CVH?

Ford are THE best, DO NOT buy anything other, even for 300+bhp
