As per title, when driving with an empty passenger seat it slowly reclines backwards by itself.

Think its where the mechanism is loose so it just dont hold no more, anyone had this problem too and managed to do anything about it?

I was just gonna remove the seat, strip it down and have a look and see what could be done.

Its really starting to piss me off now!

yeah mine does this too but i not to bothered by it really. havent a clue why it does it.

mine does the the same. would like to know how to stop it as it bounces as it does it. put weight in it and its fine.

As per all RST's I known done it too, can do 10 miles and it be fully reclined PMSL

It's the catch that's worn out, tried to strip a seat once and gave up

My girlfriend thinks i have had someone else in the car everytime she gets in.

 

ive had lots do it too, it usually goes away if i tighten up the wheel and clean the crap of the ratchet style bit, dint work on my last set of 90 spec tho so i may have been lucky in the past, never stays good for long either

stuff a bit of wood in the back , its not like you have to sit in it
