SERIES 1 VERY ORIGINAL
What is classed as concours. I have a 28000 mile from new series 1, That is very original. still has original stickers all over it. full history and drives like new. Its just like it came out the factory. iT HAS THE UNDERSEAL ON IT.

The definition of concours seems to be nowadays as long as it is spotless
Now if you are talking concours d elegance that is altogether different
As the likes of autoglym master class will look for originality
So you car would/should come into that (as long as it is spotless)

As previously mentioned concours seems to be nowadays as long as it is spotless.
The top show winning cars are better than when they left the factory. Fords certainly never power coated things!
Anyway it would be nice to see some pics of this 28,000 miler.

I have to say all painted undersides and wheelarches are NOT original. No Ford ever left the factory like thyat, so your 28k miler with the original underseal on etc in my opinion is far more original.

Thing being is to win National Day or Autoglym it has to minter than mint!
That means cleaning things to a better standard than what they would have ever of been new.
It's a tough subject as your 28K could well be more original than most but I would be pritty sure it would win ND or AG unless every nut and bolt was restored which then loses it's originality!
Some pics would be nice..
