I have just put a new cv boot on the escos, What a fun messy job that was

what it the tightening torque for the 30mm drive shaft nut ?????

Is that the nearside boot by any chance? If so, check the engine mount

FT = FUCKING TIGHT

on my mk6 the rear hubs were 290lbft

torque wrnch only went up to about 240 or so

i managed to lift the car off the axle stand i think
