My engine spec is as follows

Bluesprint low comp engine
long studed
sleeved block
BD10 cams
T28 hybrid turbo 360 bearing
polished & ported head
bailey breather system
Greens inj
3 bar
msd chip
500 cooler
mongoose exhaust
ram air filter
running 24psi holding 22 psi.

I know it`s a bit pick & mix spec but been told i get even less lag more torque / driveabilty by fitting a standerd cooler,standerd cams,standered air box K&N pannel?

oppions please ??

what improvements can i do??

PS. Don`t want a bigger turbo happy with the gay small one

what about a standard engine to go with the turbo

Indeed, why have a ported head when it would be less laggy with a stnadard one?

 

i cant see why its not laggy either tbh

seriously drive standard engine cossie with that turbo and tell me what you notice

the amount of air needed for the head and cams would actually eitehr struggle the turbo OR just be slower than it should

 

If it were mine I would go back to std cams, but that is my personal opinion!

Also can't see why it's long studded but shouldn't affect it....

 

I thought i had a standered engine untill the cam belt fell off and we took the engine apart.

fook knows what to do really like the NO lag but it`s a bit over kill with the rest of the spec.

GT28 sounds a good idea though really want to get the most i can out of it with it being laggy

when i had a T3 fitted i though that was laggy

ATM turbo starts spining up at around 1600/1800 rpm

 

yeah but when doies it run out of puff and whens it SCREAM for mercy

 

It anit that bad really as it only 300bhp just don`t get the big kick at about 4k

 

get it R/R test, bet it aint

 

Alright i tell a lie it`s 295.5 without being set up just a dyno run the other month.

bound to get another 5 bhp when set up correctly

 

anyone got a GT28 fitted??
