tempting, like it was last year. should have done it then, would have easily saved that on fuel. trouble is, cash is always short for spending on the motor at christmas.

is that right though stu, closed loop chips for L8 210, but only 110 for P8?

All the prices on the website are fully fitted and include a full setup, its done that way so as when people come we dont have to upset them by saying "Sorry, you need to pay extra for fitting etc etc".

So do the chips not need set up?

I have an escort rs & was going to book it in for chip & setup in jan, can i just stick one of these on & it will run ok?

Already have -31 act, exhaust, panel filter & uprated fuel pump.

What kind of gains will i see from one of these chips?

Many thanks

Hi,
Many people like to take the diy option and fit teh chip themselves, and maybe the actuator too, and that is who teh sale is aimed at. I would never recomend anyone turns up the boost and thrashes it without a setup, but feel free to fit teh labour intensive items yourself to save cash on labour. The chip removes the boost limit, teh gains are then realised by your tuner.

Price is as stated above, unless you want the injectors and perhaps actuator too?

Cheers for the info, what i'm aiming at, is, is it safe to drive the car whilst the chip is fitted, before getting it setup?

Is the boost limit totally removed, or just upped? if so, what is it set at?

Any tuners in the newcastle upon tyne area who you would reccomend to set it up? dont even know if there is anyone up here

But thanks for the info, if i dont get one of these, i will be back jan time to get one fitted & setup

No, the 34 is far stronger and if your unsure about it i would advise you let a professional make the change.

You can add the chip and it wont make much difference at all. All teh fuel adjustment on KE is manual, as is the boost pressure. Unsure on tuners local to you pal, sorry.

Wes... cheers

Default stage 3 chip

Stu @ M Developments

I have a 92 saff green top, and im after the stage 3 chip, closed loop.
As it already has a lambda do i need another one?

Engine is 7.2:1
Gas flowed head
rs500 intercooler

Can you write a chip to run that before my local tuner sets it up on the dyno?

If so i will have one!!!

Please email me at nicolawright@uko2.co.uk

Thanks for your help
