Many people like to take the diy option and fit the chip themselves, and maybe the actuator too, and that is who the sale is aimed at. I would never recomend anyone turns up the boost and thrashes it without a setup, but feel free to fit the labour intensive items yourself to save cash on labour. The chip removes the boost limit, the gains are then realised by your tuner.
Cheers for the info, what i'm aiming at, is, is it safe to drive the car whilst the chip is fitted, before getting it setup?
Is the boost limit totally removed, or just upped? if so, what is it set at?
Any tuners in the newcastle upon tyne area who you would reccomend to set it up? dont even know if there is anyone up here
