Default cossie management on zetec 16V

Whats the best management to use on a 16V zetec turbo conversion loking for around 300bhp....not wanting to spend £1000's......

Ive seen a lot of talk about dizzyless, i have a complete cozzy setup level 6 and level 1...can this be adapted to fit the zetec ???

I saw on ebay a guy that had modified a zetec head to take a half escort/cosworth distributor, anyone else done this????

Any other advice regarding managment for this conversion most gratefully recieved....

Cheers

you need to fit the phase sensor as the other guy done, not too hard, Brom@ZOO can sort that for ya for a good price

then its the dizzy conversion aswell, theres another 100 quid min and then its mapping for the engine so thats about 1.5k in total i recon

plus the engine

coilpack conversion on the L6, must be cheaper than doing the machining work to fit a dizzy to a zetec.

Plus it looks so much better

ryan the coil pack conversion STILL needs the dizzy mod doing as its for the phase sensor

to think you actually make the looms for it too

zetec uses a trigger of some sorts though.

I.e crank or flywheel.

sure it can be sorted.

oh and to think you stripped your car, ever seeing it going back together in the right way?

the phase sensor on the cam and a coil pack conversion

me and ryan are just fooking about, he was talking about ACTUALLY fitting a dizzy to a zetec rather than just the phase sensor from it and using a coil pack

i was taking the piss

no matter what way you go tbh its not gonna be cheep

also the flywheel would have to be machined to have the 4 crank triggers

imo the cheepest option is FRST managment , make sure you get a OFAB ecu and then just bolt it on and fit the loom, all sorted

no need for cam mods and no need for modding the fly wheel, converting to coil pack ect as its already done

and its a shite load cheeper

still can have it live mapped too, i seriously would not look at ANYONE for OFAB mapping that Kenny at MSD, that bloke knows more about eec ford managment than ford them selves

but what do i know, im just the idiot on here who dont know shite and talk bollox
