Default 4x4 cossie clutch problem

since the PF daddy thrash my clutch hasn't been disengagin as it used to.

the clutch arm is now hittin the rear of the gear box casin (so can not release any more and still got some cover pressure on it, Where before now it would release the pressure and have some movement B4 it would hit the housin

i have today removed the cable, cut away part of the tunnel, so i can see the whole lot.

The release bearing is in the correct place.

The clutch works fine till it comes into full torque, and then it starts to slip abit,

Any idea's on reasons for this?

Hmmm strange one that
Only thing i can think of thats left is the presure plate itself maybe something has come adrift and is making it not release properly?
Your not running the ratchet system on the cable are you?

yeah but its all new and workin fine,

as i've even took the cable off,

i was playin with the idea of notchin the gearbox housin, so the clutch arm releases more,

But that dont solve the problem.

Cheers,

but as i sed, i've removed the cable, its the gearbox casin stopin it now.

So its not,

Clutch cable, pedal or rachet.

nor has the release bearin broke up or moved (as i can see its not)

the only thing left IS

as Spadge sed the clutch cover/plate failure, or the clutch arm pivot failure. Niether or which can be sorted till box is dropped.

Check that ALL the engine (block) to bell housing bolts are done up nice and tight. They can work loose and just 1mm or 2 mm gap/movement there can lead to the problem that you have.
