Sky Plus question

Can i buy a Sky Plus box independantly i.e off Ebay and use it with my existing Sky card? I dont want to do it through sky cos i dont want to have one of the packages you have to have to have Sky Plus.

your card wont give you all the premium chanels in adifferent box, as the card and your box are paired with a serial number

No it wont work as you need twin leb's as normal sky boxes only have 1.
So you will not be able to record or anything.
