Cossie 4x4 T3
Low comp pistons
Steel rods for that peace of mind..
Big intercooler ( GRS/Pro Alloy/Radtec.. )
5th injector ( Cossie 803 or 403 )
Decent set up
Stage one bernie box should be fine

I have a freind who builds engines / Rs's so he is gonna do all the engine work for me... I have seen his work and it is second to none...he is runing a 310bhp zetec lump in his escort so i can trust his work... The reason I asked you guys the way to do it is becuase there is so many diff ways of doing things and I like to ere other people opinions.

Dont bore too big. Your cylinders could melt. 1800 - 1830 is very good. And spend enough money for the pistons! Cheap ones are not worth the money. And try not to use the Cosworth 4x4 management. If you're running standard programme it won't work well.

This Escort had WM management until July, the owner changed to something free programmable to get more power out of the engine:

Mine is pretty much on the nail with 248bhp and 265lb torque.

Spec
Lightened and balanced bottom end
Mahle low comp pistons
ARP bolts
Ford headgasket
Stage 2 cylinder head
Stage 2 T3 turbo
Kent CVH 35 camshaft and vernier pulley
Pace front mount (the big one)
ERL 5th injector
ERL water injection (not used since intercooler fitted)

That's how I done it and it wasn't cheap Steel rods are planned as well for next year just for reliability
