Default LACK OF SLEEP

For the past month ive been going to sleep approx 5-6am and im awake at 9am i just cant sleep. im soooo fucked now i got no go in me, and i mess things up like spelling and silly things. im moody and depressed more now too. my radiotherapy and drugs from the dr dont do fuck all either

any ideas what i should try? i was thinking of staying up till about 11pm well 2day (friday) to get my routine back?

i haven't been sleeping well for the past few months, i.e. 3hours ish per night / morning (i do 3 shifts)

decided to get on my bike for half an hour to an hour whenever i could instead of the car and i have been sleeping like a baby for the past week...

im sure the Stella and pot is helping too


some of that herbal sleep shit like Calms works fooking wonders


failing that, grab some valium

yeh tried calms b4 but dont work energy no none really except cracking one out about 85 times nite was thinking about a bike again to go 2 and from work at least. Stella on works if ive had shitloads but tbh i dont like drinking lots in the week

Try and read a good fiction book. Reading and creating the images in your brain opens up some of the same neural pathways that you use for dreaming, so it gets you into the right state to nod off

Also, if you wake up in the middle of the night, don't lie in the dark and let your mind wander on to stuff that may cause anxiety, it wakes up the wrong part of your brain. Switch the light on and read for 10 minutes, immerse yourself in that book and I guarantee you'll nod off again sooner

the treatment does completly fuck your routine up only thing is to ask the doctors for something stronger to help you get back into a routine as my suggestions of a relaxing bath and hot chocolate are not helping you relax

As said above go for a swim or a cycle. I find that I have to go for a run or go to the gym to wear myself out otherwise I won't sleep properly that night.

Eating too soon before you go to bed can disrupt your sleep too.

sitting at your computer before u go to bed dont help either,

normally its coz ur worring about something

try some asda sleep aid tablets, works a treat and cheap!!
