he was telling me that he just loves fast cars and so we started talking about my car; told him that i'm the pride owner of a 1990 2wd sapphire cosworth which he replyd onto with these words;
"well...you actually don't have a real cosworth on your driveway, it's only a sierra shell with a cosworthENGINE"

didn't know what too answer for a few minutes, must have been in a state off shock i suppose

then asked him "if mine isn't a real cosworth, what's cosworth then about?"

for me the only cosworths are those who are badged as a COSWORTH by the day they left the factory (if you all know what i mean).

I think the Cosworth badge is a bit like the Merc AMG badge. Just like AMG take ordinary Mercs and make them into sporty beasties cosworth did it to Saphs and 3 door sierras. They took a plain, and lets face it ununique car and droped in a monster of an engine and added their own styling mods to make it into a beasty.

So in theory you can say to the guy, yeah but RS500's are just Sierras with cosworth engines.
