What I meant is why do ppl get so uptight about the cars they drive? In the sense of what does it actually matter? Did you buy that car to impress everyone else, or did you buy it cos of the name/status, or did you buy it cos it has the right formula for what you want out of a car?

I want another S1. Not cos it's a Series 1 RS Turbo. Not cos it is rarer than a S2. Not cos it has RS on the logbook. But cos I think they are fun and (can be) quick. I don't want it to impress anyone other than myself so if someone came up and said "it's not a real RS" or whatever I jsut say "fine mate, but it's probably quicker than your shit box"
