Im having a few problems with my pc , example......

i was online shopping at next.co.uk, and when i try to order or access my account it just says server cannot be found or DNS error , this happens on all of my online shops and also i cant access my hotmail account!!

And another thing my Nortan keeps popping up with a message 'nortan auto protect did not load' wtf id that al about???

Helppppppppppppppppppppp!!!

try a system restore Start, all programs, accessories, system tools then system restore then go from there

 

i just cant go onto anylink, it just keeps saying cannot connect to server

Uninstall Norton to start with
Can you access any secure sites at all (eg online banking etc)?

If not, try the following:

You cannot get into hotmail and yahoo email accounts.
Cannot view secure web sites
Cannot get into pay pal
Cannot do a windows update
Cannot get into bank web sites
To resolve this problems, these steps to reset a dll file required to view secure web sites.

Click Start.
Click Run.
Type regsvr32 softpub.dll
Click OK. A pop-up should display with the message Dll Register Server in softpub.dll Succeeded.
Click OK

 

I'm having the same problem at home, I can't access my hotmail or my ebay account. Site access is fine until you have to sign in then it loses the server!

That sounds like it will fix yours tbh.

You might have to reinstall Windows Scripting afterwards but not all the time

 

i know msn and norton dont go together very well, sometimes mine doesnt let me sign in so i disable norton and it normally works then, then just enable norton once your in.
Give that a try it might work

sounds like norton has faild on an update ??

try uninstaling it then reinstalling it again...
check to see if you have any cookies in your folder if they are not there or being blocked this will also stop your access.
