I sent my laptop to them (it was collected by courier) to have;

Screen fixed as it flickered
Battery replaced cos its dead
Harddisk replace cos its dead

I also sent it with the PSU, as the courier guy asked for it upon collection (i wasnt at home when it was collected).

I get it back yesterday.

Battery replaced
harddisk replaced
combo drive replaced???

Wheres the fixed screen then? why did my combo drive need replacing??

It worked fine when i sent it!

I hope they replaced it with a Dual Layer DVD RW as thats what was in it when i sent it.

You shouldn't of sent the power supply, our couriers dont take them if they have it with the laptop.

So what do they intend to do about it i hear you ask?

They will look for my PSU, but it'll probably of been lost / thrown away, and i'll get it back, but not while next week!

Words can not really explain how mad I really am!!!!!!

 

UPDATE they cannot guarantee that i will have my psu back by next year.

Why not go down to the store you bought it from and complain, they have generic chargers there you could maybe borrow one? Ask for the manager and what he intends to do about it. If you are that desperate for it then a buy a replacement charger generic up to 19v from maplins for Ł40 to tide you over.

Typical PC World wankers. Employ kids who know fuck all about PC's and their customer service is shite. I only use them for consumables like printer cartridges.
