ive seen people with disorders on a minor scale, my sister being one of em, she has a SERIOUS disorder about her ways, always has things to be done her way and wont change her plans or gets stressed if shes behind schedule ect

she dont spend 20 mins adjusting a salt dispenser in the center of a place mat thats NOT ON CENTRE OF THE TABLE

Alot of people have OCD, some more serious than others. alot of perfectionists have it. I get it sometimes, you imagine that if somethings not done properly it might end up breaking or something will go wrong, so you have to do it to feel safe or secure

 

i agree that people have the issue, just like torettes i supose


but he was no way for real , think most of it was in his head more than anything, people who are really that way in life i do worry about other things with em too

 

My Wife has suffered from OCD for years.
It is not nice to see someone you love reduced to tears because She can't do something as simple as touch food. Not good when you work as a cook.
The worst thing is there is no cure for it, all they can do is fill her full of pills and try and control it.

 

Send her to Paul McKenna - he seems to be able to help cure alot of OCD type stuff!

Seriously though - hypnotherapy might be an avenue worth trying

Been trying but it's one of those Catch 22 things.
They wont refer her and if I take her myself then they can stop treating her themselves if it doesn't work.
