Just like to remind people (not that all you smarty pants need reminding) to check their cars before the really cold weather sets in, dont want any cracked blocks or totalled cars, simple/quick checks that may save your car/life or anothers life!!

(prompted by Scotlands almost arctic conditions tonight)

Coolant level/mixture
Oil
Screen wash/anti freeze
Wiper blades
lights, also keep your lights clean!
Tyre tread depth/pressure
Brakes! (ABS)
Battery level
Alternator belt

and anything else you can think of that's worth checking

cos my car sits in the cold coolant (could crack block/pop core plug) anti freeze in washer bottle, dont want it to crack and my car does move every so often, got a "photo shoot" soon maybee (dont get excited it's just some birds wanting to pose on it for their portfolio so i kindly agreed )

Another good thing is to check condition of rubber pipes, etc, brakes, fuel, and check ya tyres for perrishing.
