there is a grey plug that clicks on the side of the metering head, when this is connected and i try and boost my car it holds back immediately, if i disconnect it and leave it hanging off then car boosts ok.

any ideas what this plug is or does and why this will happen when connected??

please advise.

This plug supplies current to the Electromagnetic fuel pressure actuator. The fuel ecu collects info from all the sensors, and adjusts current to fine tune the fuelling.

Sounds like one of your sensors is fauly/not connected. You shouldn't really run with it disconnected.

 

Unless you fancy a big engine rebuild bill!!

Start with the coolant temp sensor and then check the rest.

 

Ah so its the coolant temp sensor that goes to the fuel ecu? Been trying to find that out this week
