Default Keeping the turbo but slight prob

Im no longer selling my car - id feel sick without it and its the best thing thats ever happened to me (this may sound slightly sad) anyway strange thing is happening and nobody can put their finger on it, turning left is fine, turning right I get a series of clanging and chh...chh...chh same as when I brake.

Mate says its wheel bearings, dad rekons it could be the driveshaft although he hasnt driven it hes just saying that from what iv told him.

Im not complaining cause its been excellent and 100% relaible but just need this sorted but kinda hard to do when I dont know whats getting sorted!

thanks

sounds like it could be a number of things. doesn`t sound like wheel bearing to me tho.

sounds more like, ball joint, bushes or drive shafts.

best thing to do is jack the car up and see if theres movement in the wheel, and then take the wheel off and have a good look round to see if anything is loose etc.

Could be a CV joint.

Yup sounds like a CV joint gone to me, probably be really loud if you put it on full lock and turn in a circle right.

From what you've described, i'd suspect CV joint, but also dont discount wheel bearing.

Rick.
